Happy deepavali

The entire gym had gotten invited to a deepavali party. All off us went of course, as the host used to train at the gym and is quite a character.

The host himself is a man called Krishna. He is a funky guy who is floating about all over the place and is nothing else but friendly to everyone.

So the party. It felt like all the long timers in Pai had been invited and you had old people, young people, kids and animals. As soon as we walked in there was the biggest Asian elephant I had ever seen! To kick of the party fireworks were set of and then the music started. Krishna had organised a few local bands and djs to play. At the mean time more and more people came. In the end there must have been a few hundred people at Krishna's house.

Of course with Pai being Pai. There were many hippies! After the main bands had played, there was a dj/ diggeridoo player who came on and started to play some kind of trance music. This is when the hippies kicked off! They were feeling the music and just going with the flow, whilst us others could just stand by and watch with fascination and wondering how many shrooms these people had taken.

All in all it was a lovely evening with lots of friends and fun!
